Does the Polar Snap towel work?

The Polar Snap towel is supposed to have the ability to be dunked in extraordinarily hot water and become super cool almost instantaneously. It is intended to be used during exercise, working outdoors, or any situation where a cool rag would feel good.

How does it work? It’s supposed to be able to cool from approximately 150 degrees Fahrenheit to 55 degrees Fahrenheit in just minutes. And the towel is supposedly dry to the touch.

Here’s a video about the product:

Using the Gemagic Mini Hand Tool

The Gemagic Hand Tool was specifically designed for hard to reach places or complicated designs. Here’s a brief introduction to using the Gemagic Hand Tool.

We’ll start with the assumption that you already have selected the type of clothing you would like to embellish with Gemagic hand tool and have some idea of the pattern or design you will be applying to the clothes.

The best way to translate that idea into embellished clothing is to trace out the design idea on paper or use software such as Adobe Photoshop. Then you can apply this template overlay onto the piece of clothing in one of several ways. If you’re confident enough with your drawing skills, you can draw the design directly onto the clothing with a fabric pen (fabric pens are inexpensive, wash off easily, and can be purchased at most arts and crafts stores).

Otherwise you will want to lay your paper design over the part of the clothing you wish to embellish and use a sharp pencil to poke holes along the lines you’ve drawn approximately every quarter of an inch. Make sure you press hard enough to leave a mark on the clothing.

For complicated designs you may want to use colored pencils to represent the placement of different colored gems. Also, if the design calls for gems to placed in close proximity to each other you may want to use different colored fabric pens to connect the dots of your design.

Now, after this preliminary preparation has been completed you’re ready to begin using the Gemagic.

Choose the gem or rhinestone you wish to start with and select one of the 5 plungers that corresponds with the size of your gem. (Protip – don’t forget to put the plungers in their individual ads because the bags are marked with the plunger size but the plungers are not.)

Put the plunger into the Hand Tool by inserting and turning the plunger. Use the gem insertion tool to add the gem to the tip of the plunger. Place the Hand Tool base underneath the article of clothing you are going to embellish. Align the base with the marked location where the gem will go. Place the plunger directly above the base and push down firmly. You will hear a slight noise as the base and gem connect. That’s it! That’s how to begin enjoying the Gemagic Mini Hand Tool.
