Cutting Gel
Nutrasport's Cutting Gel is a bit of a controversial product.
The Cutting Gel is supposed to eliminate excess body fat on the top layer of the skin. The product is marketed towards body-builders and athletes to give their muscles more definition. And it gets positive reviews in many weightlifting forums online.
The manufacturer claims that Cutting Gel can be applied nearly everywhere in the body where it will tighten the skin and remove the surface layer of fat. The only drawbacks to the product, according to the manufacturer Nutrasport, is that it cannot be applied to the whole body at once, and that the application must be accompanied by exercise or weightlifting to help the body burn that surface layer of fat.
The Federal Trade Commission has a different opinion of Nutrasport's claims. The FTC has stated that they have 'reason to believe' Nutrasport is making unsubstantiated claims. Specifically, they're saying that Nutrasport hasn't clinically tested Cutting Gel to prove that it causes rapid and visible weight loss to the areas which it is applied.
Who's right?
The FTC or the positive reviews in body building forums and the claims from the manufacturer themselves?
We don't know. But it sure sounds like another miracle weight loss product.
